“Campers Arrive”….

Happy First Day of Summer, Kehonka Girls!

I believe this piece of ephemera is courtesy of Joan Stevens, who sent me a package full of whispers from Kehonka Past. “Campers arrive”……what a lovely entry to start a calendar!

Of note: a whale watch….a trip to Squam Lake…”Fun Day” (not even a week after our 4th of July celebration!)….visits from Camp Tecumseh AND Camp DeWitt (“men on tentline!”)….hikes to Carter’s Notch…sailing to Joe’s Island…strawberry picking…a horse show….even a “Visiting Clown” (were we really treated to entertainment beyond ourselves?)…. all good things that made our summers at Kehonka so special.
